Walktrhough

As you can tell from the list, the opposing forces here are a good deal stronger than the ones in the Champions of Yore pack. You may want to wait to tackle this map until your party has started their second level tiers, and build up some of your support ranks to A or better.

Your party is placed just northeast from the center of the map (marked by an open Village). There are 2 allied groups of 5, placed just northwest of the center and at the far southwestern edge. Enemy Group A is located just south of the center village, Group B is in the far southeastern corner, and Group C is due west, just below a castle.

In the early rounds, Leif will break away from Enemy Group A to move against Ally Group B, while the rest of Enemy Group A will move to engage Ally Group A. Your allies will largely be acting as a diversion to soften up the enemies until you can clean them up, but Ally Group A is capable of clearing most of Enemy Group B before your party is able to engage. At the End of each round, hero characters like Leif and Finn regenerate a significant amount of HP, but it’s possible that Leif may fall to Ally Group B long before you can face him. “My Unit” is able to talk to King Marth if you’re interested in a little more story.

If you’re having trouble with the enemies, keep your troops out of attack range and allow Ally Group A to charge forward; you can come in behind them and clean up the rest as they go along. By the time Ally Group A is defeated, you should only have to deal with a few stragglers from Enemy Group B. This will leave you with Enemy Group C who’ll have pulled back to the castle after defeating Ally Group B.

Unfortunately, by this point it will no longer be possible to stay out of attack range, and with the bridge acting as a choke point, it’ll be important to place your strongest troops first. Enemy Group C has a rather large attack range due to a larger ratio of mounted and ranged units, meaning your frontline will have to endure successive attacks during the enemy phase.

After you finish the battle, Chrom and “My Unit” will stumble upon an Einherjar card that will allow you to recruit Leif.
